Connects to your TeslaMate database to read, and only to read. Past trips and charges come in too.

Every trip and every charge becomes its own record: distance, energy used or added, duration. The measurement behind each figure sits right under it.

Enter your tariff, see the cost.
You set up your electricity tariff once. Each charge is priced by the time and place it happened, and the monthly totals follow.
Your location never reaches Odovolt.
No coordinates.
It reads no coordinates from TeslaMate and asks your Tesla account for no location permission. The only places it sees are the names you gave them in TeslaMate, and a fast charger's public site name.
No commands to your car.
The permission Odovolt asks for is limited to reading. It cannot unlock the doors, start a charge or turn on the climate.
Your Tesla tokens are stored encrypted.
The access tokens Tesla issues are written to the database encrypted. Their plain form exists only in the server's memory, while a request to Tesla is being made.
Download your data whenever you like.
Your trips, charges and tariffs can be downloaded as a single file.

Which cars does it work with?
Only Tesla for now. If you drive something else, pick "Another car" in the form; those answers decide which makes come next.
Do I give Odovolt my Tesla password?
No. You sign in on Tesla's own page and give Odovolt read access only. You can disconnect from Odovolt whenever you like.
What is TeslaMate, and do I need it?
TeslaMate is an open-source tool that collects your car's data on your own server. You do not need it: connecting your Tesla account is enough. If you run TeslaMate, your past records come in too.
When does the beta open?
We are not giving a date. The first group starts with Tesla owners, and we will write to people on the list in turn.
